Reduced lead times and outstanding customer service: These are among Coster USA’s priorities in view of the fast-growing demand of BOVs (Bag-On-Valves) in the local market.

Pursuant to this strategy, Coster is proud to announce the installation of a first-in-class high-output fully-automated line to produce BOVs at its South Elgin facility near Chicago.

Main features of the line include:

  • Accommodates BOVs suitable for aluminum cans (Ø 45 mm to Ø 66 mm), tinplate cans (Ø 45 and 49 mm) and US sizes 202, 205, 211
  • Produces the standard Coster flat BOV as well as the Gusset style BOV, both being 100% diameter and vacuum-checked
  • Includes the use of an integrated testing system and an automated packaging/layering machine
  • Full traceability of all production batches
  • High-quality standards

This new line is designed for the manufacturing of BOVs for the personal care market with sizes ranging from 2 to 14 fluid ounces. Product applications include sun care, shave gels and various toiletries.
