Essentra Tapes is turning the spotlight on two of its recently launched product developments at the UK’s largest packaging exhibition. RE:CLOSE Lite and Rippatape X are set to be key talking points on stand G49 at the Birmingham NEC on February 26-27 as Essentra returns to Packaging Innovations.
RE:CLOSE Lite is a lightweight, linerless addition to the popular RE:CLOSE range, which has taken the resealability of food packaging to a new level. It helps deliver portion control and maintain freshness, while making sure packaging is kept tidy and cupboard ready.
Rippatape X is designed to deliver improved cross-tear performance for the easy opening of paper sacks, mailers and large cartons. Providing fast, safe and easy access to a pack’s contents, Rippatape X removes the need for knives in the opening of packaging, reducing the risk of product damage or possible personal injury.
The Essentra team is also looking forward to sharing its views on the future of the packaging industry, particularly in terms of sustainability and brand recognition, and providing some insights into forthcoming product developments.
Ian Beresford, head of marketing and development for Essentra, said: “Packaging Innovations provides the perfect opportunity to share our expertise and listen to the views of our customers. These valuable conversations can often help to shape the thinking for future developments too.
We are particularly proud to showcase RE:CLOSE Lite and Rippatape X, as they perfectly demonstrate the technical advances, we continue to make at Essentra, which deliver for brands and consumers alike.”
He said that exhibition visitors could also expect to find live demonstrations, free giveaways and competitions on the Essentra stand.
