Fancy & Trend, a Taiwan-based firm specializing in high quality and innovative cosmetic and skin care packaging, has launched pressed powder compacts with a customized inner palette concept.  Different from regular powder compacts, the Polyurethane (PUR) inner palette can be tailored to customer requirements without charging heavily for new molds. Combined with high quality SAN and ABS, the packaging is stronger and good for all kinds of coating treatments.

Although it always costs a lot to make new molds, it’s almost impossible to create bespoke cosmetic packaging without doing so.  Therefore, it’s a key part in the process where costs can be reduced when developing a new project. Based on this idea, the company considered it a mission and worked hard to develop something better to cut costs for its customers.  

By adding a polyurethane (PUR) palette instead of regular injection plastic in the compact, compacts that use this “low cost, customized inner-palette” can reduce mold costs more than 80%. It perfectly suits customers who have new or special requirements for existing compacts.
