On the 17th June 2015 Firstan Packaging Ltd became the first UK Packaging printer to become a pressSIGN Offset Standard (pOS) certified printer. The pOS certification demonstrates that Firstan have the skills, equipment and knowledge to produce consistent colour quality, from file handling through to the final print. The pOS certification is based on the ISO12647-2 colour management standard and is applied using the leading globally recognised pressSIGN software.

Some of the largest brand owners and retailers monitor and audit colour quality from all their print suppliers using pressSIGN, across all types of printing environments from litho, flexo, gravure and digital. The accreditation covers all aspects of the colour workflow including file handling, proofing, viewing conditions and press.
