Its development and investment policies in the UK earned Gruppo ASA a prestigious award

The Department for International Trade of the English Government rewarded Gruppo ASA, represented by its Chairman, Eng. Emilio Amati, for its investments in the UK in 2016. The award was granted during the 10th edition of the UK-Italy Business Awards – United Kingdom and Italy: a successful partnership in finance and business’.

At Palazzo Mezzanotte – the beautiful, elegant in the heart of Milan, hosting Borsa Italiana (Italian Stock Exchange) – together with Trenitalia, Granarolo, Artsana and other important Italian business groups - Gruppo ASA received an acknowledgement for its development policies implemented in the UK through the takeover of Central Tin Containers Ltd in Liverpool, an operation by which this San Marino company increased its presence in Great Britain. 

Chairman Amati said: ‘We have always looked at the British market with great interest. Actually, it is our second export market after Switzerland and following the recent takeover of CTC, we want to further develop it in the future’.

Just a few days before, at the 10th edition of the UK-Italy Business Awards in Milan, Ambassador Morris had awarded Amati a prestigious prize for the development achieved by his company in the UK through the takeover of Central Tin Containers Ltd based in Liverpool.
