United Silicone, a division of Industrial Decorating Solutions, is launching their new Teflon Bonded Silicone Product line. Teflon Bonded Silicone is engineered specifically to provide an alternative to wrapping silicone sealing tools with Teflon Tape.

By providing a direct bond, the sealing tool is ready to use - eliminating the additional operation of applying and removing Teflon Tape. Tailoring to each specific application, United Silicone is able to custom mold per exact requirements and offer a variety of product enhancements - flat, radius, crowned, etc. Furthermore, when paired with United Silicone’s thermally conductive silicone this innovative product provides excellent heat transfer.

United Silicone’s Teflon Bonded Silicone has been specifically designed to be robust, lasting 10 times longer in production, while simultaneously reducing changeover and enhancing seal integrity. It has been proven to provide effective solutions for sealing package inconsistencies caused by food contamination – dust, particulate, etc.

Through trials, testing, and ultimately production customers have experience cost savings by reducing maintenance and increasing production yields. After having to change their Teflon Tape daily, a major Food Manufacturer shared, “United Silicone’s Teflon Bonded Silicone remained in perfect condition after 6 weeks of trials…we would like to continue to expand and use this product on other manufacturing lines."
