James Cropper is delighted to announce its win at this year's Formes de Luxe awards in the Moulded Pulp Packaging category alongside Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët for Belle Epoque 'Cocoon'.

Together they have created an eco-designed gift box that marries beauty with environmental commitment seamlessly in the luxury market.

Crafted from paper pulp and vine shoots, the Belle Epoque 'Cocoon' has been designed for the champagne house’s vintage cuvees Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque and Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé.

The box perfectly envelops the Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque bottle, enhancing its shape. Offering a unique design profile with a pleasing sweep producing an organic and natural feel, only the golden cap crowning the champagne is revealed which is showcased by a small petal-like collar.

"This molded pack is 93% lighter than the previous packaging. It also has the particularity of integrating recycled vine shoots," Marion Trossat - Interparfums

McDonald's and James Cropper partner for pioneering recycling trial

British master papermaker James Cropper announces a trial recycling partnership with McDonald’s UK, as they both explore pioneering moves in sustainability and recycling. The partnership will enable paper cups used in McDonald’s restaurants across the UK, every week, to be recycled at James Cropper’s state-of-the-art reclaimed fibre plant – turning previously non-recyclable, plastic-coated paper cups into new paper products.
