KM Packaging, which will exhibit from Booth 4033 in the South Hall, will unveil to the North American ambient, chilled and frozen convenience food sectors its unrivalled range of pioneering skin films, (also known as Vacuum Skin Films), which provide optimum on-shelf presentation and extend shelf life, alongside an exciting range of stand-up or side-sealed pouches ideal for liquids, powders or solids.

With a well-established reputation for customer service, KM Packaging provides an unequalled range of tray lidding films and pouches that help to extend shelf life, prevent food leakage or spoilage, and provide the consumer with a positive eating experience. Already a supplier of class-leading lidding films to the food industry in North America for fresh ingredients, ready meals and convenience foods, KM is keen to showcase its other pioneering product ranges to prospective customers.

KM’s newly-launched K Skin range improves product presentation whilst reducing environmental impact through lower pack weight. It also reduces wastage throughout the supply chain due to excellent seal integrity. Consumer convenience is facilitated via smooth easy-peel opening. The films are ideal for a wide range of applications and can be sealed to mono-APET, mono-PP and PE-lined trays.

Complementing K Skin is KM’s recently extended selection of K Pouch pre-made stand-up pouches and 3-sided sealed flat bags, suitable for a wide range of hot and cold fill food applications processed for the ambient, chilled or frozen supply chain in a selection of sizes from 5ml to 5 litres, and ideal for microwave and ovenable solutions. Pouches offer a rare opportunity to reduce packaging weight and product to packaging weight ratio, whilst differentiating from traditional rigid alternatives like glass jars and metal cans in terms of on-the-shelf appearance and consumer convenience.
