This spring – on 5 and 6 April – the twentieth edition of Empack will take place in the Brabanthallen Den Bosch. The fair will be focusing on sustainability, and Kornelis caps & closures has developed a sustainable strategy for the coming years, centered around going green and contributing to the realisation of a circular economy.

The development of caps and closures is the company's core task. That's why the material and weight of every product are constantly being improved, and sustainable alternatives, as well as reusable materials, are used whenever possible. As a matter of fact, Kornelis has begun introducing mono-material solutions, as both production and recycling processes are simplified by using only one type of plastic instead of two.

The company also uses lightweight caps that are produced with the bare minimum of plastic and energy. In other words, Kornelis keeps processability in mind at every stage of the process. After all, when it comes to recycling, every ending is a new beginning. Our team will present various examples of these developments during the fair, such as the Xtreme cap, metal-look cap, and closures made of recycled material (RPP).

Kornelis recently received the ISCC certificate for the use of sustainable raw materials. Let yourself be informed about the possibilities during the exhibition.

Our sales team welcomes you to our stand to discuss these and other developments. Please visit us at booth 1.A22
