Coding and marking specialist Linx Printing Technologies has appointed Zoe Baxendale as Senior Product Marketing Manager.

Reporting to Director of Product Planning Steve Cheek, Zoe will be responsible for the ongoing development and enhancement of the company's Thermal Transfer, Large Character Marking and Thermal Inkjet printer ranges, as well as its supporting software products.

Zoe has wide-ranging experience in product management, product marketing and business development, with particular expertise in identifying market opportunities and driving innovation and growth. She joins from Northrop Grumman Park Air Systems, where she was Senior Market Development Manager.

New Linx ink for coding on to oily surfaces

Linx Printing Technologies has widened its range of specialist inks with the introduction of a new formula that meets the challenges of coding onto oily surfaces. Linx Black oil-penetrating ink 1062 is able to print effectively through light layers of oil onto a wide range of materials, including plastics, metal, glass and waxy surfaces. Linx 1062 ink also provides good adhesion on Oriented Polypropylene (OPP) and other plastic films, making it ideal for a variety of both industrial and food applications.
