MingFeng's wood box for Standing Liberty 2016 centennial gold coin

US Mint’s official website has started accepting orders for its highly anticipated centienial gold coin Standing Liberty Quarter.

As mentioned in the official introduction, this gold 2016 centennial anniversary release “celebrates Hermon A. MacNeil’s original ‘Standing Liberty’ quarter design. Each gold coin contains one–quarter troy ounce of 24–karat gold, symbolic of the coin’s denomination, and has a business strike finish.”

This coin set is one of the three centennial gold coins that are releasing in 2016. They are the Mercury Dime, Standing Liberty Quarter, and the Walking Liberty Half Dollar Centennial Gold Coins.

The box is made with lacquered wood with a “wave” shape design. The production of this complex wood box requires high-level hand crafting skills. MingFeng packaging has a production line with several thousand skillful workers, making the mass production of such beautiful wooden boxes effortless.
