PÖPPELMANN blue® is the name of the Pöppelmann Group’s company-wide initiative, which is committed to a closed material loop. Last year Pöppelmann TEKU® presented its first innovative, fully recyclable plant pots. This year, the specialist presents an extended range of commercial horticulture products.

PÖPPELMANN blue: Save resources with 100% recycling

A highlight of this year is an extended range of fully recyclable plant pots: the range of products made of pure post-consumer recyclate now includes the current VCG, VCH, VCK and VTG series. The resource-saving plant pots in the “Recycled Blue” colour are made of Pöppelmann PCR. The plastic used for the pots originates 100% from collections of recyclables from Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland (DSD). The pots are 100% recyclable. After use they return to the recycling collections.

The resource-saving plant pots from PÖPPELMANN TEKU have received several awards and are certified: The Blue Angel eco-label recognises the use of recycled plastic, the RAL Quality Mark indicates the proportion of plastic that comes from the Yellow Bag or Yellow Bin, and the seal of the cyclos-HTP institute confirms that the certified TEKU plant pots are 100 percent recyclable in German “Dual System” and in comparable waste management systems.
