Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions (RSE) has announced a new structure for its education program at Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) 2019. Widely regarded as China’s choice sourcing platform for the global personal care industry, PCHi will return to Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center from 26 – 28 February 2019, along with the PCHi Annual Industry Conference 2019.

Presented in a brand-new format, the Conference will cover a comprehensive range of topics in a mix of keynote and break-out sessions. This announcement comes as RSE moves in response to the industry’s demand for learning at trade events, where attendees seek out the latest market trends and technology offerings to help shape their business activities for the year.

As the first trade event of the calendar year for the cosmetics industry, PCHi is an innovation-led platform that offers trade professionals the opportunity to uncover predictive market development trends. The definitive event receives the industry’s attention globally, and it takes the lead in communicating the latest business information, market updates, regulatory framework, and technological advancements.

Peter LIU, PCHi Project Manager, said, “Under the direction of PCHi’s Cosmetics Science and Technology Innovation Committee (CSTIC), we’ve developed a robust education program that offers delegates the resources they need for their various functional roles — whether technical, marketing, or regulatory — to name a few. With the new framework, we’re making the conference more accessible and we hope that attendees will make full use of these learning opportunities.”

Complimentary Plenary Talks: Varied Topics, Simultaneous Translations

Next year, for the first time ever, RSE will present a curated collection of keynote presentations in a series titled ‘PCHi Conference Plenary Talks: Trend-driven Innovations for a Smart Future’ on 26 February.

Open to all PCHi participants, these sessions are designed to provide attendees with a quick overview of the global personal care market covering a broad range of highly sought-after conference topics. These include overviews on market trends for cosmetics, color cosmetics, R&D, packaging, and more. The Plenary will be delivered in both Chinese and English (through simultaneous translation), and will feature some of the world’s most authoritative consultants, industry experts, and formulators.

Break-out Sessions: Deeper Insights for Specific Topics

The spotlight then turns onto the break-out sessions, which allows delegates to delve deeper into separate, elective conference tracks. More themes are in the pipeline and will be announced later.

1. Cosmetics Formulation Conference

2. Cosmetics Efficacy Evaluation and Testing Technology Conference

3. Dermo-cosmetics Clinical Research & Skin Care Products Foundation Conference

4. Rules & Regulations Conference

5. Market Trends Conference

The all-rounded education program offers PCHi visitors the opportunity to uncover new technologies and fresh perspectives through in-depth and interactive discussions with industry experts, including formulators, researchers, clinical physicians, regulatory advisors, and market research specialists.
