The Romaco Group has once again reported a double-digit rise in incoming orders for the fiscal year 2016, confirming the upward trend of the previous years. With orders totalling 143.7 million euros, the company achieved a 10.6 percent increase compared to 2015. The order intake for new machines has leapt up by an impressive 22.2 percent to 104.5 million euros. This positive result is also reflected in the sales figures. The accounts show a 6.3 percent increase here with the Romaco Group generating 134.3 million euros in revenues. Sales of new machines accounted for 92.8 million euros of this total, representing a 10 percent improvement over the previous year. Romaco is continuing to grow too with its customer services, with sales in this segment up another 3.8 percent.

“The excellent news regarding business with new machines is a clear indicator of our strong position and the powerful reputation of the Romaco brand in the international pharmaceutical markets”, emphasised Paulo Alexandre, CEO of the Romaco Group. “We have succeeded in stimulating considerably more demand for Romaco products through targeted investments in the sales structure as well as in our portfolio. We plan to provide a further impressive demonstration of this at Interpack 2017 in Dusseldorf.”

Romaco France S.A.S. was officially opened in August 2016 as Romaco’s latest local Sales & Service Centre. The Romaco Group currently operates five such centres in Brazil, China, France, Russia and the U.S. “Being close to the customer pays off”, said Alexandre when asked to comment on the successful end to FY 2016.
