Sampling Innovations shows off “Successful Sampling in our new world”

On 23rd March, 2021, the PCD Digital Day event took place. The day was dedicated to the cosmetics and perfumery industry and provided great opportunities to connect with an unrivalled community of designers, buyers, specifiers and suppliers across Europe. Digital Day was the perfect platform to celebrate new packaging innovations, as well as exploring the latest industry trends and innovations.

We are proud to say that Sampling Innovations Europe were the headlining sponsor for the day. We had the pleasure of opening the event, giving way to the Head of Packaging Development at Coty, Vincent Delavenne, who presented the winning projects of the student competition from the ESEPAC and Ecole Superieure Du Parfum schools.

Our Director of Sales and Marketing, Céline Boix started the ‘Innovation Lab sessions’ with our presentation: ‘Successful Sampling In Our New World’. The presentation explored Sampling Innovations Europe’ latest capabilities as well as recent trends in sampling and single-dose developments for the post-covid world.

Inevitably, as a result of Covid-19, it is key for businesses to adapt to the demand for safer and hygienic solutions. Consumer habits have changed. Online channels are proving to be an extremely common way for consumers to shop, transforming the in-store shopping experience and the way cosmetic products are tested. 

Sustainability awareness has increased in recent times. The search for more sustainable materials and products within the industry has rocketed. It is becoming more common for consumers to explore eco-friendly consumption habits.

At Sampling Innovations Europe, we have seen the urgency for change in the approach of allowing consumers to test products before purchase in a more hygienic format. As a company we have taken this on board and can offer our clients effective solutions for point of sale using eco-friendly materials.

A more personalized experience

We would like to encourage retailers and brands to offer effective in-store shopping experiences to help increase customer satisfaction. 

We are developing effective tools for interactive olfactory marketing that will make sampling a personal, yet hygienic, experience for the consumer.

1st INNOVATION:  TICKET SCENT®

We are proud to introduce TICKET SCENT®, *Technology developed by Adhespack, an innovative solution for dispensing scented samples in a hygienic and personal way.

The tool is adaptable in shape and design and is to be displayed on retail shelves. The customer takes a single scent ticket and peels to release the fragrance, which can effectively be open and closed several times. Relevant information, promotions or a QR code can also be printed onto the sample itself. A great advantage for the retailer is being able to distribute samples in a way which does not require the involvement of a person, thus creating a safer environment.

Ticket Scent is an excellent way to trial products, with each sample being an exact replica of the original fragrance. The consumer can take the fragrance sample away with them, allowing them to potentially share with friends and family.

2nd INNOVATION:  ECO-FRIENDLY SOLUTIONS

Now, more so than ever before, it is important to consider the recent demand for more sustainable and multifunctional packaging.  We are constantly working on new ideas to help contribute to sustainable developments in the packaging industry, taking advantage of all the resources that we have at our disposal without causing harm to the environment.

At Sampling Innovations we have bespoke and highly developed machinery, allowing us to offer multiple solutions to our client using a single recyclable material. This material offers a more ecological alternative without aluminum, by reducing the percentage of plastic, thus leaving less of a carbon footprint.

3rd INNOVATION:  EASY-DOSE

Single dose samples are an effective and efficient solution for offering a safe, single-use testing experience for the consumer.

Our latest innovation for single dose samples is Easy-Dose*. An innovative sample that can be opened with one hand and optimizes 98% of the product.

Easy-dose is also available in recyclable material.
