The Schur®Star Piping Bag is a highly convenient packaging solution, offering easy-to-use applications for both domestic use and in the catering sector. The SchurStar Piping Bag was developed for pastry and semi-liquid products like sauce, mayonnaise, soup, dressing, marzipan, jam, whipped cream, mousse, and icing – practically any product that requires convenient dosing.

The SchurStar Piping Bag is both a dosing and decoration tool

After cutting off the tip of the bag, the packaging is employed both as a dosing and a decoration tool - a simple and easy solution. The bag is available in a wide range of laminate constructions offering excellent barrier properties, with optimal storage capabilities for the specific product. If required, a rigid nose cone, with or without a reclosable cap, can be inserted into the bag before the product is filled. Furthermore, the bag is available with features like suspension holes, a recloseable zipper and with a nick for easy opening.

Not only the bag itself offers convenience, this is also the key word describing the packing process. The SchurStar Concept is applied worldwide by more than 500 companies. Applications comprise any type of product: from fresh produce to frozen food, liquids to confectionery and toys to hygiene, technical, and fertilizer products. All are packed in bag constructions that offer high convenience in every step of the cycle – from the producer, to the retailer, and to the consumer.

The SchurStar Packaging Machine allows a smooth packing process and a quick and easy change-over between different bag constructions and sizes - within a 5-10 minutes period, without the need for size change parts. A change-over between manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic filling can be carried out just as quickly. The packaging machine is easily incorporated into an existing production line and likewise easily combined with additional process equipment – e.g. for gas flushing or hot fill.
