Turkey's leading glass packaging producer Şişecam Glass Packaging won three design awards with Kemal Kükrer Turnip Juice Bottle, Yeni Kavaklıdere Vinegar Bottle, and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Hamidiye Water Bottle designs at AsiaStar Packaging 2015 Contest, which selects the best packaging products of the world.
The world's fourth biggest glass packaging producer Şişecam Glass Packaging won three design awards at the AsiaStar Packaging 2015 Contest organized by Asian Packaging Federation (APF), which brings Asian packaging giants together, and selects the best packaging products of the continent.
In the award ceremony held in Istanbul on 26 November, Şişecam Glass Packaging was awarded for Kemal Kükrer Turnip Juice Bottle, Yeni Kavaklıdere Vinegar Bottle, and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Hamidiye Water Bottle designs. In the AsiaStar Packaging Contest Award Ceremony, Filiz Cömert (Design Officer at Şişecam Glass Packaging and designer of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Hamidiye Water Bottle and Kemal Kükrer Turnip Juice Bottle) and Alp Aruca (Design Officer at Şişecam Cam Packaging and designer of Yeni Kavaklıdere Vinegar Bottle) received the awards on behalf of Şişecam Glass Packaging .
This year, among 196 participants in total, Turkey participated for the 2nd time in the AsiaStar Packaging 2015 Contest held in Istanbul for the first time, and received 18 awards and hence became the 4th country with the highest number of awards.
