Sopac Médical rethinks the traditional inhaler with screw-top overcap

    • Sopac

Sopac, the French supplier of packaging solutions for the medical industry, has branched out a bit to provide a new take on an old product.  The new inhaler bills itself as a "nasal tranquilizer", and the company that produces it recruited Sopac to create a clean, nigh-frictionless inhaler tube.

In order to make the experience as pleasing as possible to the consumer, Sopac needed to create the ideal nasal vapour inhaler.  The company didn't reinvent the wheel, but it DID create a component that glides in easily, almost without any friction. The tip is smooth and rounded for comfort, with a small aperture that allows vapours to pass through freely, especially if inserted deep enough for maximum effect - users should be careful, though, as pushing the article too far can cause injury.

The inhaler comes with an a screw-on overcap to prevent the product drying out or becoming contaminated in pockets or purses.

This and other innovative products will be showcased this year at Beyond Beauty, Sept. 13th-15th.  You can visit Sopac at Stand J78 K79.

The company will also be attending CPHI ICSE from the 5th to the 7th of October.
