Spectra grows its popular Roma range

Spectra has recently bolstered its Roma ranges with the addition of two new packs in HDPE. With its distinctive angular shoulder profile, the Roma design has proved a popular choice with customers seeking a versatile round container.

The two new extrusion blow moulded additions include a 250ml (Ref: 6135) version and a 300ml (Ref: 6136) option, both with either 24/410 or 24/415 neck variants.

Spectra’s current Roma range in PET includes five size variants with 50ml (Ref: 1105), 100ml (Ref: 1070), 200ml (Ref: 1084), 250ml (Ref: 1086) and 300ml (Ref:1017) capacities available. The company are excited to grow the range with two new versions in HDPE and believe the latest additions will be well received by customers.

Jonathan Powell, Sales Director at Spectra, commented, “We have witnessed significant customer interest in our Roma design over recent years. So much so that we have taken the step to grow the range to satisfy demand”.

He added, “We believe it is vital that we constantly look to add more and more packs to our standard offerings to offer a good breadth of choice. Bolstering current ranges is perfect for brands who have different product lines and offers an ideal alternative when custom tooling isn’t an option”.

The Roma range of bottles works harmoniously with several accompanying caps from Spectra’s extensive closure ranges. These include shallow, disc top and flip top caps to fit 20/410, 20/415, 24/410 and 24/415 neck finishes.

Spectra rolls out 30% minimum recycled content standard

Our long-term desire has always been to reduce virgin material levels in our products, encouraging our customers to embrace Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content. To back up this desire, we continue to put solid and robust supply chains in place to support customer demand. Since then, we have seen more and more customers appreciate the environmental benefits of recycled content in their packaging, with many taking levels beyond 10%, in many instances as high as 100%.
