SR Packaging offers metallic stamping

  • SR Packaging

In its bid to be the first and only one-stop-shop for customers seeking a reliable and strategic partner in Asia, Taiwan's SR Packaging is continually updating its customer offerings for those looking to differentiate their product from the crowd and offers some of the cleanest and most meticulous hot stamping on the market to its broad range of decoration offerings.

Hot stamping is defined as the method of transferring an engraved image to a particular surface. Heating is an essential part of the process because it makes the transfer possible. With the aid of a stamping die, the image is heated before it is transferred to a marking foil. The marking foil then leaves the ink on the surface where the image is being transferred.

There are many benefits to gold and silver hot stamping. It can be used to decorate various different materials, including different plastics, paper, pencils and stamping wire insulations, etc.

For the consumer the mental equation of the shiny colour to quality is instant: Gold and silver are prized, therefore gold and silver are valueable and desireable. The association gives added value to the product.

In addition, metallic stamping provides high resolution and transparency, enabling a layer that is scratch resistant.

Metallic stamping is one of the decoration capabilities that SR packaging offers in-house. Others include labeling, silkscreen/offset/flexo printing, hot-stamping, hydrogrphic printing…etc. The company has been manufacturing plastic injection, extrusion and blow-molded components since 1989.
