RecycleSmart, a leading provider of waste and recycling management services, has announced its partnership with TerraCycle in launching an online store that offers TerraCycle’s Zero Waste Boxes. The e-commerce site is an extension of RecycleSmart’s existing services. It also offers other waste management related products like recycling bags and bins.
TerraCycle is an international recycling and upcycling company that aims to eliminate the idea of waste. TerraCycle’s Zero Waste Boxes serve to hold what is traditionally considered non-recyclable products, including candy wrappers, cosmetics, and automotive parts. As an effort to increase waste diversion for commercial businesses, the Company collects and repurposes these previously non-recyclable post-consumer items that would otherwise have gone to landfills or incinerators. Zero Waste Boxes can be used for all categories of waste.
“We are pleased to work with TerraCycle in expanding our online product offering and our shared mission to implement innovative processes of waste diversion,” says Colin Bell, Managing Partner at RecycleSmart. “As a forward-thinking company, we are constantly searching for new waste management methods for our customers that also positively impact the environment. TerraCycle’s Zero Waste Boxes are valuable contributors to this goal.”
“We are ecstatic to begin a partnership with RecycleSmart since both organizations share a common mission of increasing waste diversion and offering additional recycling options in Canada,” adds Sunil Kaushik, Senior Manager at TerraCycle Canada. “Through RecycleSmart’s website, businesses and individuals can now purchase Zero Waste Boxes to recycle many items previously deemed non-recyclable, from coffee capsules to safety equipment.”
Employing Zero Waste Boxes in complement to RecycleSmart’s non-traditional and tech-driven waste management solution lead businesses toward greater success with their waste and recycling programs.
