Holiday Cheer with a Dutch Custom Tin

Owning several shops, bakery Van der Wal - Jolink is a household name in the Dutch city of Apeldoorn. The bakery joined forces with the Dutch Orange Company (the label of the Orange Festivities Foundation) and illustrator Ingrid van der Krol to produce a custom tin for packing banquet, Easter, and Christmas stollen.

It was particularly important that the tin received a Dutch appearance and conveys the typical 'Orange feeling'. Part of the proceeds from this tin went directly to charity.

The result: a beautiful custom-made tin

The final tin is the result of a collaboration between four parties: the bakery, the foundation, the illustrator, and ourselves.

In consultation, a design was chosen that incorporates typical Dutch scenes. Ingrid van der Krol was responsible for drawing the illustrations. We made the tin extra special by adding an embossing at the top, which makes the bow even more striking. The end result is the perfect tin for gifting. Both fun to give and receive!

Because the customer is an Apeldoorn company, the tin sold especially well in the city and its surrounding areas. More surprising, however, was that the tin also proved to be popular abroad! The Dutch Orange Company presented the tin to various embassies, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Because we have a good heart for charity, we were very eager to support this tin financially.

Custom tins for Wall Cakes

A very special customer from Germany! A leading photographer accompanied our client who wanted to package special cakes. Cakes that were to be sold in Berlin. The tin has become something really special. The custom-made tins can be stacked on their sides, so they can be used to build a wall. The tins fit together seamlessly. The modern graffiti-like designs, together with the sepia-coloured old photographs, make the tin quite special. The tin itself says it all: "Eat the wall!"
