Meet Erik: Internal Sales Representative

What faces are behind The Box? In turn, company employees would like to tell you who they are, what they do, and, of course, which packaging is their favorite. Cheerful inside sales representative Erik shares his story.

Team of generalists

"Since November 2022, I have been working at The Box with great pleasure and satisfaction. The word that describes the work is mainly 'broad.' Our team consists of generalists. That means we all have broad knowledge of business. Not only the commercial, but also, for example, the logistical aspect. That is necessary to be able to inform the customer fully. How many cans go on a pallet, how many in a box, when do shipping containers with new stock arrive. That variety, combined with the great team of colleagues makes the work fun! I also have a lot of contact with customers to inform them all about the different types of tins. Standard and custom made."

Spice tin with inner lid and wooden knob

"We have a range of beautiful tin packaging at The Box, but our new spice tin with inner lid and wooden knob (PL387) really stands out for me. The wooden knob makes this version a striking one. Last January I received the first request for this tin: a sample. The German company quickly proved enthusiastic and ordered the tins. After that another run of 1,000 pieces was ordered and then another run of 2,000 tins. That says it all, doesn't it!"

Custom tins for Wall Cakes

A very special customer from Germany! A leading photographer accompanied our client who wanted to package special cakes. Cakes that were to be sold in Berlin. The tin has become something really special. The custom-made tins can be stacked on their sides, so they can be used to build a wall. The tins fit together seamlessly. The modern graffiti-like designs, together with the sepia-coloured old photographs, make the tin quite special. The tin itself says it all: "Eat the wall!"
