Thrace NG participates in “Polyshield” research project for advanced nanocomposite shielding materials.
Thrace NG, a member of Thrace Group, participated in the "Polyshield" research project. The ultimate objective is to design and develop a primary polymer nanocomposite to be used in the development of innovative meshes, fabrics and yarns suitable for shielding applications in construction projects, electronic equipment manufacturing and personal protection.
The project aimed at developing innovative nanocomposite polymeric materials with electromagnetic shielding properties which is funded by national and Community resources through the Regional Development Fund. The expected results of the project are laboratory and industrial prototypes, as well as significant scientific knowledge.
