As a winemaker, you know your wine reflects your experience, craftsmanship, innovation, passion, tradition and skill. It's your heart and soul. It also reflects your values and those of the wine lovers that seek out your wines. And today, more than ever, sustainability is a big part of being a winemaker. TricorBraun WinePak is right there with you, proudly ready to help you achieve your sustainability goals with environmentally responsible options in packaging and logistics.
As a major provider of bottles to the wine industry, our long-term objective is to create effective packaging while reducing its environmental impact and ecological footprint.
Some packages reduce overall environmental impact by using 50% recycled materials. Others reduce CO2 emissions by 19% to 29% compared to a standard 20-ounce wine bottle, because less energy is required for manufacturing, These lighter, eco-friendly bottles also incur less fuel consumption and emissions in shipping than traditional bottles.
Options like these can really add up in the big picture.
Choosing the right bottles and establishing good, sustainable practices can really make a difference
TricorBraun WinePak participates in The Sustainable Packaging Coalition whose common vision and framework propose packaging that:
- Meets market criteria for both performance and cost;
- Optimizes the use of renewable or recycled source materials;
- Is made from materials healthy in all probable end of life scenarios;
- Is effectively recovered and utilized in biological and/or industrial closed-loop cycles.
-We keep up to date on emerging materials and practices in order to offer you greener options as you get your wine to your customers.
