The Basque Government's and SPRI's official visit to the Urola China plant

Recently the leading officials of the Basque Government and SPRI (Society for the Promotion and Development of Euskadi) visited the UROLA plant in China.

The institutional mission, headed by the Basque Government´s Vice-councilor of Industry Mr. Javier Zarraonandia and the General Manager General of SPRI, Mr. Alexander Arriola, had the opportunity to visit the new URUOLA plant in China, UROLA HUZHOU BLOWMOLDING SOLUTIONS CO., LTD. The visit was led by Mr. Luis M. Lete, Managing Director  of UROLA and the project´s promoter.

This Company, which is the result of a Joint Venture between UROLA S.C. and the business group GIANT, has its headquarters in GIANT Industrial Park, in the city of Nanxun, the Huzhou district, and has been created as a base for the development of the Chinese market including technical assistance and partial manufacturing of extrusion-blowmoulding rotary machines, which have been very well received in the Chinese market.

During the visit, the Delegation had the opportunity to see the UROLA installations, along with some machinery, while getting to know the GIANT industrial group´s activities.

With this they have been able to see, first-hand,  UROLA´s investments to develop the market, which are all in line with the internationalization policies established by the Basque institutions.
