PackSys Global, a member of the Brückner Group, has acquired the Swiss company MADAG Printing Systems AG, with effect from January 1, 2013. MADAG is a leading manufacturer of automatic hot stamping machines for the packaging, cosmetic and automotive industries. The closures and tube markets in particular provide interesting synergies with PackSys Global’s core business in terms of technology and customer environment.
MADAG will continue to operate independently, pursuing its long-standing relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners. The name as well as the management team and the well-appointed factory (located in Fahrweid near Zurich) will also remain unchanged.
