During its long history, American Packaging has been managed by only two owners. Today, the company is a privately held corporation owned by the Schottland family, and is led by CEO, President and Director Peter Schottland. APC operates three non-union Centers of Excellence and employs over 640 quality focused individuals.

American Packaging Corporation (APC) is a full-service flexible packaging manufacturer that provides flexographic and rotogravure printing, extrusion and adhesive laminations of film, paper, foil, and fabricates bags, and pouches made from both paper and/or film substrates in many sizes and styles.

APC operates three Centers of Excellence in the U.S., each dedicated to a distinct converting process. This enables each Center to focus on core competencies, while maximizing utilization of equipment, training, resources and level of expertise. The technical staff at each Center monitors product quality, while driving product and process improvement as well as new product development.

While our operations are decentralized, we respond to our customer’s packaging needs by coordinating resources across multiple Centers of Excellence, providing a single point of contact who seamlessly manages the process.
