When Bodywise began, in 1978, we were 'The First' company in the world to make Human Pheromone products. The publicity this attracted meant that we did not need to advertise them. We are still the only company in the world to sell pure Human Pheromones.
In 1991, we began making Liquid Silk® Sexual Lubricants and once again we made no advertisements. The plain packaging was also deliberate, because the really important luxury is on the inside of the bottle.
Our primary aim has always been to improve the quality of our lives and that is a goal we see as distinctly different to making a profit. We can happily say now that we have enjoyed the research. We passionately studied the minutest detail and chose all of the ingredients without regard to their cost. We have only ever made what we wanted to use for ourselves.
The manufacture of our products takes place under the strictest of health and safety guidelines.
Our purpose built factory takes the raw products, delivered directly to our warehouse from the suppliers, and uses a strict controlled process to create our finished products.
Once the mixture is created in Large Stainless Steel drums, it is fed into state of the art packaging machinery which fills the packet / bottle and seals them to prevent tampering. A random selection is taken from each production run and sent for thorough analysis. The ensures our products are constantly matched to the latest Health Guidelines.
It is truly satisfying to see a product made, packaged and distributed from beginning to end. Whether it is by the ‘pallet’ to the United States and Canada, or smaller quantities to our trade customers, we apply the same principles of care and attention to ensure that our products continue to live up to our extremely high standards.
