    Cerve Spa

A world leader in the sector of mechanics applied to the decoration of glass.

    Group

La Cerve was founded in 1953 by three entrepreneurs from the city of Parma, Pierluigi Bormioli, Girolamo Accarini and Tanino Bonati.
It immediately became a point of reference in matters of decoration for local industries, both in ceramics and glass. It is no coincidence that CERVE stands for CERamica - VEtro.
Over the years the company began to specialise more and more in the glass sector, joining with the production system of the great glassworks and at the same time starting to introduce its own brands and distinctive decoration onto the market.
In the '60s Cerve, already present in the perfumery, pharmaceutical, promotional and household sectors, consolidated its market leadership by decorating glass containers for major companies both nationally and abroad.

Around the '80s, considering the success it had achieved, the company was reorganised into two divisions: one dealing with third party decoration, the other dedicated to the decoration and marketing of glassware for the kitchen and the home. During those years, there has been a policy of strong expansion, with the building of new production facilities equipped with ultra-modern technology alongside the various existing plants dedicated to ground-glass procedures, sandblasting, and drilling.
In the '90s, Cerve, always on the lookout for up-to-date solutions, wanted to expand its engineering plants to become a world leader in the sector of mechanics applied to the decoration of glass, managing in this way to satisfy an extremely demanding market that is always on the lookout for more and more refined and one-off decoration.
At the same time, development in the household sector continued with the creation of various commercial brands to set apart its extensive range.
