    Collcap Packaging produces Lipsy London's fragrance bottle

    Collcap Packaging has drawn on its glass-tooling expertise to produce a multi-faceted fragrance bottle for Lipsy London. Collcap's technical skills and experience in bespoke tooling were entrusted to transform this on-trend brand's original design into an elegant high quality glass bottle, adapted for a perfect meeting of aesthetics and functionality.

    The challenge was to recreate the stunning multi-faceted surface on glass, retaining the impact of the initial Perspex model whilst providing a solution to allow the product to sit securely. To overcome this, a 'base' was created where the bottle could balance and be angled to full visual effect, whilst retaining its original shape.

    In addition, the bottle neck was adjusted from the first model, allowing the cap to move unobstructed, and showing the crystalline heart design to full effect. The bottle was sprayed for a transparent pink finish and completed with an aluminium collar and necklace.

    The Lipsy fragrance bottle is just one example of Collcap's exciting bespoke products launched in 2011, showcasing the company's dedication to top quality design and ability to manufacture complex packaging with excellence.
