Large range of exhibitors, highly international event, accompanying conference programme, new trade fair highlights: Preparation for this year's CosmeticBusiness is well underway.

From 6 to 7 June, 414 exhibitors and represented companies from 20 countries – of which around 70 are new exhibitors – will present new solutions for the development of cosmetic products. This year, as a result of its great popularity, the international trade fair of the cosmetics supplying industry will be occupying all four halls of the MOC Munich for the first time. Trade visitors can look forward to the largest CosmeticBusiness to date.

Diverse range of exhibitors and a highly international event

Cosmetics brands and manufacturers spanning the entire cosmetics industry value chain will be presenting themselves at CosmeticBusiness 2018. The offerings range from raw materials and ingredients, machines and services for the manufacturing of cosmetics, through to packaging and marketing. Whilst every seventh company will be presenting ingredients for cosmetics, the field of manufacturing will account for around a third of exhibitors. Around half of the exhibitors belong to the field of packaging. Around 37 percent of the exhibitors are from abroad – predominantly from France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland.

Topic groups in the new exhibition section Colour Cosmetics

In the new exhibition area, Colour Cosmetics, in hall 1, visitors can find out more about suppliers of decorative cosmetics. MAGA from Poland, Mascara Plus from Italy, Premium Cosmetics – a company from the Weckerle Group – from Germany or Trendcolor from Italy are amongst those exhibiting their offerings for the first time. In addition, the research institute, Dermatest, will be presenting colour measurement solutions or mascara volume tests.

The topic of decorative cosmetics will also feature as part of a best practice discussion. Cosnova employees use the example of the essence maker shop to illustrate how the company successfully implements innovations in the market.

Distributors Lounge: Meeting place for the initiation of sales collaborations

A further new feature can be found in hall 1: The Distributors Lounge, where matchmaking sessions will be held on both days. The service's main aim is to support foreign suppliers and cosmetics brands in establishing contacts with distributors from German-speaking countries. Distributors, on the other hand, are provided with a perfect opportunity to get to know exciting brands that they do not yet work with. Online registration for the matchmaking sessions is open and free of charge until 31 May.

Special SPOTLIGHT show will showcase innovations

The exhibitors will be showcasing numerous creations and innovations at CosmeticBusiness 2018. The special SPOTLIGHT show, housed in hall 1 this year, will provide a targeted overview. With around 30 exhibitor spotlights, the number of product creations to be showcased in the exhibition will exceed that of previous years. Additionally, the trade fair's conference programme focuses on several exhibitor spotlights.

Conference programme offers special highlights

In the accompanying conference programme, experts will address current topics, such as developments in the field of natural cosmetics and 4.0 packaging design. Moreover, colour and material trends for the 2019/20 season will take centre stage. The trend workshops, organised by Carlin Creative Trend Bureau, are new to feature on the conference programme and will be held on both days of the trade fair.
