    Our History

    For over 100 years and through four generations, bee keeping and bees have been are in our blood. From generation to generation a unique understanding of bees and the way they live has been passed down, an understanding of how to maintain, protect and enhance these insects and the amazing, natural ingredients they produce.

    Today, our family owned businesses have over 5000 family bee hives located amongst some of New Zealand’s most remote and beautiful lands. Matthew Cropp, a born and breed beekeeper devotes his time to formulating new skincare creations using the ingredients from these family bee hives.

    It was a business that was born out of his great, great grandmother’s fascination for bees and through the generations, our family have been pioneers for the development of beekeeping techniques and the understanding of the brilliant ingredients that bees gift us.

    This fascination from over 100 years, has created an understanding of the importance of the bees and their health, a fibre of our approach that remains at the core of our business today.

    What we craft

    Here at Bee’s Brilliance we have a long history and understanding of the land and it’s native inhabitants.

    Our products are about crafting together the absolute best our brilliant bees produce, with the absolute best flora our pure remote lands produce. Our formulations are about the brilliance of natural ingredients that are the purest of gifts from nature, that don’t harm nature.

    We handcraft our skincare products in our own newly established manufacturing facility in Brightwater, Nelson New Zealand. Because natural and quality are everything to us, we control every step of our skincare making process.
