Dafo Plastics
DAFO Plastics is a company that produces plastic packaging: bottles, jars, tubes as well as closures supplying the cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets.
The company was founded in 1992 and quickly gained a high market position in Poland. After six years production was extended to manufacture polyethylene tubes. Machines were purchased for their decoration. The range of our products is constantly under review and regularly increased. Utilising our own toolmaker’s shop and a CAD/CAM program, we are able to build moulds in-house and are capable of handling complex projects. Increasing market demand has made it necessary to buy new machinery for tube production allowing increased quality capability.
Our factory is located in southern Poland at the foot of the Tatra Mountains in the town of Nowy Targ, about 20 km from Zakopane. Since the begining, our company has been run by the same management team. We are proud of the ethos of our company and the commitment of our people to work as a team to achieve full customer satisfaction. This greatly enhances the efficiency and quality of work.
Continuous improvement and development as well as commitment of our employees are very important to us. In October 2007 Dafo achieved ISO 9001 quality certification. We place great emphasis on effective communication with our customers. Internal communications within Dafo are being continuously improved in order to meet the needs of our customers in the shortest possible time. Our number one priority is customer satisfaction. To facilitate that, we introduced the online ordering system in which clients can request the samples directly on our Web site, with samples received within 48 hours. On our user-friendly Web site all our standard products, and the closures that match them, can easily be found.
Dafo Plastic has a dedicated environmental program which includes careful and monitored management of energy and water as well as other resources. This has resulted in Dafo achieving ISO 14001 environmental certification.
