Exquisite Handmade Cakes produce a range of cakes for both the food service industry and retail. They were introduced to the University through the successful Appetizing Innovation project - run by Yorkshire Forward to help the food industry access knowledge within the region's universities. The company's initial request was for a review of their structural packaging and labelling method, but the project developed to include a new rebrand for the company. 'This has been an excellent example of how the skills here at Sheffield Hallam can provide practical support for companies in the region' said John Kirkby, creative director of the Design Future's Packaging Studio.
