Environmental consciousness and the premium drinks sector rarely go hand in hand. It’s a contradiction that was picked up on by Pocket Rocket Creative, who seek to demonstrate to luxury brands that they must address their long-term impact on the environment and that embracing sustainable materials is the way forward.
The team's vision is that all the materials used in their packaging designs should be eco-friendly, without compromising on a premium, luxury look and feel. For the bottle, therefore, they chose Estal’s Wild Glass, which is recycled glass that’s hand-blown and made into a unique, reusable decanter with a slight tint and a rippled sand detail; the view from above represents water flowing from the sea.
For the label, the team chose Avery Dennison’s recycled Fasson Cotton Black paper in combination with vegetable-based and non-toxic inks. For the embellishment, they selected Kurz ALUFIN AL GIO NB.
