Inlay: A new decoration technique for beauty packaging from GCC

Inlay is a decorative technique used in sculpture to contrast different materials and colors in an art piece. It is often seen in wood, metal or stone artwork and the history of the technique can be traced back many, many centuries.

Borrowing this ancient artisanal technique, GCC creates inlay decoration pieces to form an ornate enrichment to plastic make-up palettes and compacts. Unlike standard printing on cosmetics packaging, inlay pieces in their very nature give a more dimensional finished look.

This new twist on a traditional decoration technique was exhibited at Bologna Cosmoprof in March, along with other exciting decoration options offered by the Taiwanese company known worldwide for its innovative decorative creations.
