About us
Gramß GmbH was founded in Tettau, Northern Bavaria, in 1989. Products manufactured were mostly designed for the cosmetics industry, but due to increasing demand from the food and pharmaceutical industry, the company soon relocated to larger, more modern manufacturing and administration premises in Lauenstein.
In 2004, a positive international development together with an expansion of national business prompted the management to move location again.
Production for injection moulded articles, administration and management facilities were centralized in Spechtsbrunn.
Throughout its history, Gramß GmbH has evolved into a modern enterprise employing eighty-five personnel.
In addition, due to newly created capacities at the Spechtsbrunn site, Gramß is able to respond rapidly and effectively to clients' requirements, utilizing modern and efficient production methods, which are continually updated to meet today's growing demands for new and innovative storage products for the cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical industries.

Modern production machines
On the latest computerized machines the company produces injection moulded articles.
The closing thrust accounts for 25 to 320 tons. Specifically trained and sophisticated machine operators work in three shifts. Self developed and modern production machines guarantee processing and manufacture of closures which may include integral sealing gaskets.
Consistent quality of products and documents is ensured by rigorous and regular in house Quality Control monitoring, to AQL standards. Certified according to ISO 9001:2008.
Beside the standard program many caps and series are developed in close collaboration with customers and are not free available.

Clean room
For special purposes Gramß GmbH is operating a clean room class 7.
In the modern clean room unit caps and containers for the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry are manufactured under nearly dust-free conditions from production to automatic counting and packaging.
The injection moulding machines in this area are suitable for customized as well as standard caps.
