Grupo Modelo founded in 1925, is a leader in the production, distribution and sale of beer in Mexico and since 2013 is the seventh largest zone of the world's largest brewing group Anheuser-Busch InBev. Currently, Grupo Modelo has 17 national brands, including Corona Extra, the most valuable brand in Latin America, Modelo Especial, Victoria, Pacífico and Negra Modelo.
About us
We export eight brands and have a presence in more than 180 countries.
From the global portfolio we commercialize the brands Budweiser, Bud Light, Stella Artois, Michelob Ultra, among other brands produced by Anheuser-Busch InBev. Through a strategic alliance with Nestlé Waters, we distribute the bottled water brands Sta. María and Nestlé Pureza Vital in Mexico.
We operate 10 breweries in Mexico, including seven industrial plants, two artisanal plants and one experimental plant, in addition to 10 vertical operations plants (stained glass, malting plants, boats and plastitapas).
Through more than 9 decades, we have invested and grown with Mexico. Today, we generate more than 32,000 direct jobs in our breweries and vertical operations, located throughout the country. In addition, we generate thousands of indirect jobs that range from barley fields, primary distribution and points of sale such as miscellanies, grocery stores, hotels, bars and restaurants, etc.

Mama Modelo
We want our women to feel supported so they can grow and develop simultaneously in their professional lives and as mothers of families.
i. It consists in granting one more month of extension of maternity and granting five additional days per paternity to the new parents, in the same way, it grants a gradual return to once the women join their work activities.
ii. Additionally, we granted a subsidy of 85% in the payment of nurseries to mothers of families, this initiative will benefit more than 200 children.
We have a shared services center in Aguascalientes, in which more than 1000 people work, of which the majority are women. This is just one more sign that we firmly trust that betting on women is a key strategy for the continuity and prosperity of the Company.
Likewise, in most of our business units we have parking spaces for pregnant women and breastfeeding areas in our facilities.
