    Ipi Srl

    Ipi Srl

IPI has been delivering solutions for the aseptic packaging of liquid products in multilayer structure for over 30 years.

    History

IPI srl was founded in 1981 as a result of International Paper's taking over 'Resolvo' system owned by the Buitoni Company.

IPI's early years focused on consolidation in the sector of aseptic carton packaging for liquids and development of a new packaging process, keeping 'Resolvo system' as a starting point.

Our efforts led to the SA Aseptic System.
The first SA-50 installation dates back to 1982 and since then SA machines have been successful worldwide, giving invaluable contributions to our customers success and growth. In 1995 the range of SA machines was enhanced with the SA-65, a machine that combines the SA-50's most important features with a higher operating speed.

By late 1990s the packaging opening and closing devices were upgraded, as a response to the market requirements. Two openings were then launched: Twist cap (1999) and Clip cap (2001), both highly appreciated by SA system users.
In 2002, IPI was involved in a management buyout (management acquired the control of the Company).
A new plant started in 2006, equipped with the most innovative technologies for production of multilayer material in reels.
2013 marks the acquisition of IPI by the Coesia Group, thus strategically committing Coesia and its innovation competences and resources to serving the specific IPI’s Customers for the long term.

Thanks to a new global network combined with significant engineering capabilities, IPI will be provided with an excellent growth platform and know-how.
Moreover, Coesia’s solid standing, long term view, highly professional management team, ambition and values will allow IPI to enhance its role as full system supplier at the service of aseptic carton packaging Customers.
