    Jerusalem Pharmaceutical Company is a public joint stock company established in 1969. The company operates in the fields of developing, manufacturing and marketing of human pharmaceutical products and personal and household care, veterinary and agricultural products.

    The company produces more than 200 medicinal preparation in various pharmaceutical forms, as well as more than 150 formulations that of other products. The company's factories in Palestine, Jordan, Algeria, and employs more than 350 employees of the highest caliber and various scientific disciplines owners. The company holds a certificate of good manufacturing pharmaceutical GMP, and ISO9001 quality and ISO14001 certificates

    Company History

      • It was founded in 1969 after the Israeli occupation as a result of an urgent national need in the Palestinian market at the time.
      • Started a sole proprietorship, then it turned into a private shareholding in 1975.
      • It turned into a public joint stock in 1978.
      • It has moved to new premises in 1982.
      • The company began manufacturing personal care products and detergents 1988
      • The Company purchased the company 'balm for the pharmaceutical industry' in 1995
      • The company began to open overseas markets in 2000
      • It was established a special department for the manufacture of veterinary medicines in 2004.
      • The company has to contribute to the establishment of a pharmaceutical plant in Algeria in 2006.

      • It was purchased partner's share in Jerusalem Farm plant in Algeria in 2008.
      • The Company purchased a company of the Jordan River Pharmaceutical Industries to 2008.
