The Company

No matter if there are food packages (sanitary-cans), ordinary cans, packages for chemical-technical products or beverage cans, we manufacture quality and 100% recyclable metal packages according to the market requirements and needs of the customer.

Our Company run in the 4th generation can look back on a compony’s history for more than 140 years. Our experience in producing metal packages is reflected in customized, user-friendly and 100% recyclable products.

The main segments of our product range are general line packages, sanitary- and foodcans.

The 5 litre party keg as well as our 2 litre beer can with a screw cap and further packages for the beverage industry gets a special recognition.

With these products the company Julius Kleemann has gained a solid positioning in growth in a highly competitive market. We are one of the few companies in the market which are still family owned.

Quality, modern technology and the team spirit of about 130 employees are the core of the Kleemann philosophy. In this way, we will take care of the increasing demands and desires of our customers in the future.

We are happy to be able to offer our customers many important and outstanding services:

Support and consulting customer-specific processes like filling and sealing.
In-house design with 3D CAD system SolidWorks for tool constructions.
Own tool making for fast implementation of customer requirements on the basis of our constructions.
Based on our design capabilities and mechanical workshops relevant product developments according to customer requirements and ideas can be implemented.
Own lithography with employed media designers to create and implement the desired artworks of the packaging with all current programs (Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
Own platemaking with CTP plate setter (CTP = computer-to-plate) – direct transfer of data from the computer to the printing plate.
3D – Lithography prototyping – real color lamination of packagings and first-proof for customer presentation and lithography-release, as well as for market testing of new artworks.
Own warehouses located in the area of the factory for pre-production and supply of packaging for the seasonal demands – short and flexible response times.
Complete manufacturing range in-house – from the tinplate-sheet to final production, we do all individual process steps in-house – printing, lacquering, lids, bottoms, cutting, final production.

Our customers have many years of experience in the production of packaging food. High standards of quality and hygiene legal safety of our products are an obvious commitment to the end-customer and the ultimate key to our continued success. Due to our extensive product range and variety of different product sizes we can produce both – standard and customized food packages. Our packages are manufactured on very modern, high-speed production lines.

Products for general line applications.

Julius Kleemann GmbH & Co.KG offers its customers of the chemical industry a wide range of best tinplate packages – beginning with 50 ml small containers up to 70 liter large containers. Our wide range of metal packages (from our own production and traded articles) meets the requirements of different filling products, from the stable hazardous goods packaging for paints, inks and solvents through to opaque packages for high-quality, semi-liquid frying fats and cooking oils.

We look back on decades of experience in the production of the 5-liter party keg. For more than 45 years, we see ourselves as partners of breweries and the beverage industry. Thanks to over many years grown business relationships, a lot of consumer-friendly developments evolved, such as the top keg Plus, 3- and 5-liter kegs with Bag-in-Box system for fine wines and currently our patented 2-liter bottle (24U) for beer and soft drinks.
