About LAN VECE
Alishan Mountain - also is known as Heart of Taiwan, located in Chiayi City, southern Taiwan, where Tropic of Cancer passes through. Alishan Mountain is a biologically rich area with comprehensive humanism and culture. With the altitude of 2400 meters high, she is a beautiful precious mountain surrounded by cloud and mist throughout the year. “Lan” means Phalaenopsis, Vece means sacred plant given by God. In Alishan mountain, LanVece is a sacred flower, which be used when Tsou aboriginal warriors are going on an expedition, the elder of tribe will wear the warriors this kind of flower, in praying for victory, a good harvest, and safety.
The founder of LAN VECE, Liu Chin Shan, combines phalaenopsis and technology, established the brand in skin care field made from the sacred flower.
Liu Chin Shan plants and cares phalaenopsis as the flower is another half of his life, as if they belong to each other for life or for death. When seeing sunshine spilled on phalaenopsis, Liu Chin Shan feels it gently as well. He believes that if he is comfortable with the sunshine, so do his flowers. This is how he plant and looks after them, and this gives us a beautiful beginning of LAN VECE…

Charm-Sun Farmstead
Our phalaenopsis grows in Charm-Sun farmstead, where located at 1300 meters high in Alishan mountain with the exceptionally rich environment. Appropriate temperature, humidity, sufficient sunshine and clean water nurtures best phalaenopsis in the world. They are as beautiful as precious jewels.
With the unique environment, after years of efforts spent, Charm-Sun won a champion and Certificate of Cultural Excellence in 2007 World Orchid Exhibition. The award-winning phalaenopsis is now our mother breed of all the phalaenopsis we make our skin care products. It fully bloomed with 145 petals in eight months, each petal has a diameter of 13 centimeters like a human palm, and this made Liu Chin Shan start to think what a strong power is inside to maintain its life? The turning point was the start of LAN VECE’s journey.
Freshness
LAN VECE plucks qualified petals manually every day in a small quantity, and delivers to laboratories for extraction. Our patent extraction technology extracts essence qualitatively and quantitatively in order to maintain its activity. The extracted essence featured in stable, highly reactive element, heavy concentration and micro-molecular characteristics. It can be quickly absorbed by the skin, extend the time to act on the basal layer of skin, and to achieve the highest performance.
Effectiveness & Certification
Our award-winning phalaenopsis has certificate on the grant of community plant variety rights from European Union and variety rights from Taiwan. Also, the extracted essence have evidence-based effectiveness from both safety tests and functional tests, experiments conducted by ITRI-Biomedical Technology and Device Research Laboratories, Taiwan’s Dermatology Authority –Dr. Chiu, AMA LABORATORIES,INC, Japan and SGS. The results proven that our extracted essence has anti-oxidant compound with heavy concentration, it eliminates free radicals, reduces inflammation, restrains Tyrosinase, have effects in whiten skin, reduce spots and anti-inflammation. It shows that LAN VECE essence does not cause corrosiveness, irritation or any other adverse reactions. Besides, LAN VECE has an assigned name in INCI, EU CosIng Cosmetics Regulations, with MSDS documents.
