Global coding and marking solutions provider Linx Printing Technologies has appointed a new distributor for Lithuania and Latvia to meet growing demand for its equipment in the territories.

Kemek Engineering UAB is a specialist in industrial automation and one of the leading distributors of high quality industrial equipment in the Baltics with more than 25 years’ experience.  The company’s range of complementary packing line equipment includes weighers, and vision, X-ray and labelling systems.

A team of sales and service personnel from Kemek will provide comprehensive support for the full Linx portfolio of CIJ (Continuous Ink Jet), laser, thermal inkjet, thermal transfer and outer case coders from the company’s offices in Vilnius, Klaipeda and Kaunas in Lithuania and Riga in Latvia.

With many Lithuanian and Latvian companies seeking to develop business in export markets, Linx says there is a growing requirement for reliable and cost-effective coding equipment to help them meet relevant international standards and regulations.  The company anticipates strong interest in particular in its pioneering Linx CJ400 CIJ printer, with its unique combination of portability, fast set-up and self-servicing.

"The breadth of Linx equipment means we can provide solutions for many different coding requirements", comments Chris Pick, Commercial  Director of Linx Printing Technologies.  "We believe Kemek is the ideal partner to help us maximise opportunities in these important markets."
