Coding and marking specialist Linx Printing Technologies has appointed a new distributor in Bolivia as part of its ongoing expansion into new territories around the world.

Quimica Suiza Industrial (QSI) de Bolivia S.A. will stock and supply a wide range of Linx products, including the company’s continuous ink jet (CIJ) systems, large character printers, laser coders, thermal transfer overprinters (TTO) and thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers.

QSI Bolivia supplies industrial machinery to a variety of industries, while its parent business, QSI, also has experience as a distributor of coding and marking solutions.

“We have appointed QSI Bolivia because they cover an excellent geographical area and also have good experience with other products in the markets we target,” explains Chris Pick, Commercial Director at Linx.

QSI Bolivia has already put together a strategy for introducing Linx technology to Bolivia, and plans to target companies in the many medium and small industries that are currently experiencing growth in the country.

Miguel Irigoyen, Head of Industrial Sales at QSI Bolivia, comments: “We are very happy to be Linx’s new distributor, and are confident that our well-established contacts, along with our structured business plan, will enable us to implement a successful introduction of Linx’s coders into the Bolivian market.”

QSI Bolivia is the Bolivian arm of Quimica Suiza Industrial, the leading South American provider of state-of-the-art machinery and technology for sectors including veterinary, construction and mining and textiles.
