As a specialist for plastic closures and packaging, Menshen has developed four new products which were presented to the industry for the first time at the recent Interpack trade fair.  The four products are the flip-top cap for the cosmetic industry, the flip-top cap for washing and cleaning agents, the two-part dosing system and the smart flip-cap for tubes.

The flip-top cap for the cosmetic industry

The new flip-top closure cap for the cosmetic industry is characterized by its appealing design. The hugely versatile closure is available in two colours with all kinds of colour combinations. The dual colouring not only provides a greater recognition factor, which can be regarded as a unique selling point for the product, but also generates attention at the PoS. The opening of the flip-top closure cap is available in various sizes.

The flip-top cap for washing and cleaning agents

The innovative flip-top cap for deployment with washing and cleaning agents is also a new addition to Menschen's standard range. The flip-top design is reminiscent of a push-pull closure and so creates new opportunities and provides a cheaper alternative to the push-pull closures primarily used to date.

As it is a single part closure, it offers a far cheaper production option compared to the assembly of two components as much fewer materials are used, thereby conserving resources and protecting the environment. The flip-top closure cap is also available in a two colour combination and the opening comes in various sizes.

The two-part dosing system

Menshen's range of dosing closures also features an appealing novelty: This two-part dosing system can be used both in combination with a spout or just the dosing cap alone. The threads of the spout and the cap are identical. A tear-off lip on the spout prevents the contents from dripping and thus enables clean, precise dosing. A slanted return additionally allows the product to flow back into the bottle evenly.

The smart flip-cap for tubes

Menshen has launched the smart flip-cap as a particularly sustainable and reliable closure solution. The single part closure for tubes with tamper-evident ring reduces the weight by up to 50% compared to other tube closures because much less material is used.

The smart flip-cap closure solution is suitable for laminate and plastic tubes and offers a cheaper alternative to tamper-evident closures with a sleeve, such as tubes used for toothpaste or mustard. The raised opening enables the contents to be dispensed cleanly and once the closure is opened and the tube shoulder becomes instantly visible, prominently showing its colour, which can be different to the cap; as such all kinds of colour combinations are possible.
