MRP Solutions recently unveiled its brand-new solutions center welcoming customers, suppliers and guests to its premises in Lake Forest for a day of education and celebration.

The day included an informed look at trends to watch throughout the year presented by the MRP team, focusing on design and ideation opportunities within the Solutions Center, an introduction to injection molding and lining and the MRP manufacturing process focusing on the latest market trends.

Commenting on the trends acknowledged in the report, CEO Jim Fitzgerald notes:

“Our mission is to recognize that industry trends continuously change, and customer needs are always evolving. The innovation center will foster the MRP consultative approach to uncovering customer needs, while implementing strategy to expand capabilities and customize smarter, safer, and more flexible packaging solutions that reduce cost and increase speed to market. Our new Solutions Center is a space where collaboration can spark innovation and create solutions to even the biggest packaging challenges.”

Megatrends through 2040 include digital living, convenience, diversity & inclusion, personalization and to experience more, as consumers look for premiumization, sustainable living and the pursuit of value.

The Trends 2023 report looks in detail at pharmaceutical and nutraceutical trends, highlighting areas of growth from year to year since 2018.

Many trends are forecast for the beauty and personal care markets, including convenience, e-commerce and unique looks at specific user groups including the growing global ageing population.

The report continues with a look at food trends and then an insight into how sustainability trends are influencing consumers and how circular packaging assessment tools can help companies to understand and evaluate packaging in order to identify challenges that must be addressed and the impact that this will have on packaging.
