The company of Müller & Bauer has been producing metal packaging in Metzingen near Stuttgart since 1899. Currently, the company employs 90 people to manufacture blank and printed packaging from aluminium and tinplate for customers in Germany, Europe and overseas.

Quality management — Checking and quality
At Müller & Bauer, quality control takes place during the project planning phase. The individual manufacturing processes are planned to achieve the highest possible quality. Long-term studies and continuous further training of our employees ensures the highest level of quality. The ISO 9001 certification confirms that our quality management system meets the basic principles of the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001. The testing and certification was carried out on 13th March 2007 by the PÜG Prüf- und Überwachungsgesellschaft mbH.
Environmental protection — Responsibility and commitment
For us, environmental production is the natural thing to do. For some time now, the recycling of our raw materials and the protection of our climate have been a fixed component of company policy. Since the beginning of the 1980s, we have been committed to responsible handling of tinplate and aluminium. The company invested in a new printing and painting system in 2003, which is particularly environmentally-friendly, thanks to the low CO2 emissions.
