About Us
Olita, Spanish for “little wave,” captures the essence of what our business is all about. We love the beach and develop products that can make your time at the beach even more enjoyable. Additionally, we are committed to promoting water conservation at all beaches. Our original Beach Be Gone product achieves all of these things. It makes clean-up at the beach easier while also saving water.
Our Products
Beach Be Gone® originated from some surfers who wanted to find a more eco-friendly and practical solution to remove sand from their feet. We thought water was pretty important (to life) and rather than using water to remove sand from our feet we could use what it is now known as Beach Be Gone® - it was our little secret. To us, the beach is a powerful place, it offers sand for us to dig our toes into and water to cool us off, a chance to: relax, adventure, build friendships, compete, bathe in the sunshine, or you name it, the opportunities are endless.
The creation of the Olita® brand came not from our inspiration to develop a world class sand removing product, but rather to make your time at the beach a little more enjoyable (and the ride home a little less sandy) and to make sure that the beaches we love today will still be here for our grandkids tomorrow.
Sometimes in our modern world we are so busy working or studying or using our smartphones or stressing over little things in life, that we take for granted our time to relax. Everyone deserves a break and it is important for our longevity (study shows those who have fun live longer). Our surfer inspired lifestyle strives to find the balance between work and play, because we realize that play is healthy and fun. We have found that people who find this balance seem to glow and stand out in comparison with everyone else. So as they say 'the world is your oyster,' go enjoy the outdoors and hopefully some sunshine. The Olita® Lifestyle is awaiting you. Make sure not to forget the sunscreen (because too many rays can damage your skin) and grab yourself a bottle of Beach Be Gone®, so that after a long day, you can leave the sand at the beach.
We feel that the energy of the ocean is something special and we want to do our part to conserve our non-renewable resources while still being able to do what we love. Adventure is a magical thing, it can - inspire, enlighten, connect, support, embrace, love - us. Part of the Olita® Lifestyle is finding the adventure in your life, exploring the beautiful natural world we so often forget about. Our approach to creating the products we sell is in a methodical and environmentally friendly manor, just as we hope to live our lives.
