From 2nd to 6th May 2017, the Metpack in Essen showed once again that it is the most important trade fair for metal packaging.

The visitors learnt more about PackSys Global's brand new Swiss-engineered Zelos cutting and brushing machine.

Texa Packaging brought many visitors to the booth with live demonstrations of the BSBT H2300S machine for strapping and banding aerosol cans.

Madag Printing Systems demonstrated their Deco Roll-XC system for hot stamping and embossing metal caps.

The show days were very successful with many visitors and a lot of very interesting discussions and exchange of ideas.

Ready for new EU legislation: “Tethered” beverage container closures

New legislation in the European Union requires that all plastic closures must remain “tethered” to single-use beverage containers after opening. PackSys Global has developed multiple solutions to solve the “tethered” requirements and is ready to answer this demand.

New identity, same commitment

PackSys Global AG, based in Rüti, Switzerland, has announced the name change of its India office. Effective 7th May 2021 PackSys Global (India) Pvt. The fully automatic in-line beverage closure pull-off tester

capLAB is an in-line, automatic integrated unit for testing the functionality of a closure’s tamper evident band. In optional combination with a vision inspection system which can select closures by cavity number, capLAB takes samples from the slitting / folding machine outfeed and measures in-line the pull-off strength of the closure’s TE band.
